Established in 1986 in Mogappair, Chennai, the Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School began as a humble branch of the esteemed Velammal Educational Trust. With just 183 students and 13 teachers initially, the school has since experienced outstanding growth.

Today, it proudly accommodates 8176 students and boasts a dedicated team of 546 staff members. Year after year, Velammal School remains committed to nurturing the potential of its students. The school consistently enhances its facilities, infrastructure, and pedagogical expertise to equip students with essential interpersonal skills necessary to overcome future challenges.
